Is it possible to change the Gaze Cursor From a standard 2D uwp application

Is it possible to change the Gaze Cursor from within a standard 2D uwp application to notify the user, the application has recognised data, i.e., when it is not in the user FOV.

eaxmaples QR code scanning, image recognition , etc .

I could use speech but wanted to investigate other options
