There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

What is the best way to use my own headset

I have a much better 7.1 channel, 3 speaker & bass woofer w/ vibration (per ear) immersive headset that I would like to use instead of the speakers that came with my Odyssey HMD.
I have the speakers extended all the way down and they barely cover my ears and because they are extended so far, the sound is of poor quality (loose fitting against the ear). Can the speakers be removed from the head bracket to make room for my headset. Or at the very least could you provide an exploded diagram so I can see where their wires are plugged in. I have already located the 3 screws needed to remove them, just need the plugin location. I have seen this question posted in several other community forums, as I am not the only user either with better sound options - or just the max limitations of head size - (yes I have a large head  )
