why won't the Energy Hub hologram place?

So I am finally on chapter 3 of the Windows Mixed Reality. I followed all the steps and it deployed just fine but will not place. It will follow my gaze but wont by any means recognize my finger tapping. i have waited longer than the 60 seconds and it still does nothing.
