Lenovo MR is not finding the Nvidia Quadro 1000 on W520 laptop
my W520 has a Quadro 1000, but the Microsoft app does not give me a chance to redirect it to find the Quadro and it chokes when it finds the basic Intel 3000 chip. and somehow the MR app does not show up as a program and therefore allow me to tell the Nvidia app to point it towards the Quadro. do I just have to give up?

I'd suggest you use Windows Mixed Reality PC Check app to see if your computer can support Windows Mixed Reality first.
