Windows Mixed Reality Controllers Not Working

The past few days the controllers had been working flawlessly. However today, when I turned on my controllers, they were dim and not bright. They were not being tracked by the headset either. I thought this was a battery issue and replaced the batteries with from fresh ones. However the same issue still occurred. I found out that reconnecting the controllers by removing it as a device and and reconnecting it fixed the issue. But the second time I used the controllers the same issue happened again. Is there any way to not have to manually reconnect the controllers every time I want to use them?

    Hi Machu,

What's the Mixed Reality version you are using? Uisng the latest version might help you solve this issue.

Please check if you are using the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (RS4) which is the latest release for Windows Mixed Reality immersive headsets.

And for the Mixed Reality headset and motion controller driver, please use version 10.0.17134.1004. You can check this in Device Manager.

After this, you can perform device recovery to reset the controller. And after pairing controllers with PC again, controllers' firmware should be able to update automatically.
