Downloading the toolkit-unity

Following the instructions of "Getting Started" I have downloaded the toolkit assets packets.
These are:
1. HoloToolkit-Unity-2017.4.0.0
2. HoloToolkit-Unity-Examples-2017.4.0.0
3. HoloToolkit-Unity-PreviewFeatures-2017.4.0.0

In the tutorial it is indicated to add custom packages. So I added #1. Now I have the MixedRealityToolkit menu option.
In the tutorial, it also is written to repeat this "for the examples and test asset packages as well."
I suppose examples refers to #2 but what are the test asset packages??
and what about the preview features (#3)??

Any help greatly appreciated

  • Hi. Are you mean that you want to make use of toolkit to build your apps?
What you need to do is opening your Unity projects and copy these three packets file folder into your project's "Assets" file folder.
Then find .scene files under "Scenes" file folder , click on one of them and you can explore what they can do.
