How to insert, place and resize a 2D window in Unity 3D?

Hi everyone,

I have already created two scenes for the Microsoft HoloLens in Unity 2018:

Scene 1: An AR supported animation of a CAD model
Scene 2: A 2D Canvas with a few buttons which shows additional information to scene 1.

When scene 1 is loaded, I want to have the possibility to load, place and resize the window for scene 2 first and then run both scenes simultaneously.

Can someone please explain how to solve that? Or does anyone know a better way to insert a 2D window like the one I need in my first scene?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)
