At Practical, we have dove deep into Spatial Understanding and its limitations. As it stands now, a grid is provisioned for 5m in each direction. We have rewrote portions of the library to extend this limit and will replacing a few components in the near future for even more optimizations and extensions to these boundaries.

Definitely checkout our KEY SDK. We take a lot of the headache out of spatial mapping and spatial understanding.
