Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Increase render quality while using live preview

Hey,

Once you enable live preview both the quality and the FPS of the visualized content is lowered. Even if I lower the quality of the live preview the quality of the content within the HoloLens is still rather bad. Once I disable the live preview the quality goes back to the original quality: 60fps and good detail quality.

Assuming I don't care about the actual quality of the live preview, is there a way to increase the quality of the content within the HoloLens while using the live preview option? I don't want to decrease the user experience but I would like for other people to see what the user sees.

If there's a solution that doesn't involve the Windows Device Portal but uses an alternative i'm all ears aswell!

Thanks in advance.
