Long-term usage on a convention, overheat and seelp mode?

We plan to use the Samsung Odyssey Device on a convention for approximately 9 hours a day. Other than Oculus for example the Device does not seem to shut off when no user is using it, so the first concern is overheating.

One concern is the automatic sleep mode. Is there another way to re-activate the device other than by clicking on the button on the desktop? Or is there a way to disable automatic sleep mode?

There seems to be no way to detect if someone is using the device (in our app) and the device does not go in stand by if the device is unmounted. So one concern is overheating. Is there any data available if the device does handle a long term usage and is there a way to enable standbymode, which can easily be re-activated without access to the PC.

Well I jsut found out that we can utilize the Proximity sensor now and this thread seems to be helpful as well to prevent App shutdown.

I will try to set the screen to black when no one is using the device then Sceen Burn shouldn't be an issue. The question remains if the device will then run for 9 hours. There should be a way to re-activate the device without using the desktop.
