Is it possible to acess remote folders from hololens?

Hi there.

This was pretty simple in my mind (in my usual pc evironment something like "\targetPC\targetFolder" works) but so far I couldn't find a proper solution ... I even think that it could be impossible (though I admit I'm not very skilled in networking stuff)

So the situation is this: I'm creating a hololens app and I need to retrieve some settings data from text files which are located in a network remote folder. I've been doing some preliminar research just trying to access to those remote folders from my hololens using the file browser but I can't even find a way of going beyond the local device. So my question would be:

1-Can a network shared folder files be read/written from the hololens? How? Do I need a specific browser? Moreover, if it's possible then how would I grant my hololens user profile access to such shared resources?

2-Can de file be accessed through an ad-hoc network?

regards!!
