My controllers don't connect, but shows as paired

Hello!
I have the Lenovo WMR headset and the controllers. The headset works fine, but not the controllers, when i first added them, everything was fine, it was working and showed up in the WMR portal, but when i turned them off and then back on again they disappeared, but in the Bluetooth settings they showed up as paired. i removed them from the bluetooth settings and connected them again, and they worked fine again, but when i turn them off and back on again they don't connect, they just show up as paired. Now when i want to use my WMR i need to always open the Bluetooth settings, remove the controllers, switch them on, open the battery section, press on the little thing so they have Bluetooth, select them in settings and then i can only use them. This is start to really annoy me, can someone help so when i turn them on they automatically connect to the WMR?
