We have decided to phase out the Mixed Reality Forums over the next few months in favor of other ways to connect with us.
The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.
The plan between now and the beginning of May is to clean up old, unanswered questions that are no longer relevant. The forums will remain open and usable.
On May 1st we will be locking the forums to new posts and replies. They will remain available for another three months for the purposes of searching them, and then they will be closed altogether on August 1st.
So, where does that leave our awesome community to ask questions? Well, there are a few places we want to engage with you. For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality. If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers. ERROR S0002361-101 when trying to use headset
for a while now i've been trying to use my headset only to get "something went wrong windows mr didn't start right" or something followed by this error S0002361-101 i've looked up thing problem but every time i find someone with the same problem they never post what they did to fix it if they even got it fixed. i've tried to uninstall the KB409 whatever from the march 5th 2018 update but when i search it up in my updates i can't find it. it's been a few months since i've used this $400 headset and all those vr games i've bought on steam and sunk a few hours into and can't return them now are just sitting in my library mocking me. i've tried my best to find a solution this is my last resort before i just plain ass fling the headset across the room because it worked fine for months before it started doing this. i have the acer mr headset, the big blue one.
