Can't get Hyper-V features enabled on my new laptop. Anyone else run into this issue?

Hi guys,

I've been attempting to install HoloLens emulator on my new laptop, but every time I attempt to enable Hyper-V features, my computer will not boot past BIOS. I've left the computer overnight (around 10 hours) and the computer will be stuck on black screen. I will generally then force reboot and be given the troubleshooting menu and choose to restore from a restore point. I've attempted re-installing Windows 10 Pro, and also attempted installing the HoloLens emulator from website or going into Windows Features and attempting to enable it from there. Both result in black screen after BIOS. Upon clicking F2 on reboot, I've checked that the SVM mode on the BIOS is enable and that the boot order isn't changed.

My computer specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Integrated Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.30Hz
Dedicated NVidia GeForce 1060Ti
16 GB of RAM DDR4
256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
Computer is an ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop 505DU-EB74
Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 (18362.418)
Fully patched up to 10/13/2019 as I generally manually check for updates once a week. I've gotten the issue escalated by going to a Microsoft Store and asking for help there, one of the members recommended checking here.

Regards and thanks.
