Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Build 2016 Meet Up

I'm attending Build and would love to meet-up with some holographically minded folks.

If you're going to be there too, let me know. If there are a bunch of us, we can plan to meet somewhere.

  • My guess is that there will be a lot of potential hololens developers there. I just received an email to attend the Holographic Adademy while at Build. It looks like only future hololens owners attending build got the invite.

  • Yeah, I just got that this morning.

I'm also wondering if the Hololens team will be hosting any kind of networking event.

Got that too. I'm hoping the "little" surprise at the end is a HoloLens to take home :)

  • I totally missed that line. Maybe they are giving us the Hololens rather than having us put down the $3K to purchase.

They're only offering these sessions to hololens developers. So it actually makes a bit of sense.

We're in wave #1 for purchase, but havn't received an invite. Maybe this is why ?!?
