HoloLens emulator test in unity editor

Is there a way to test HoloLens HoloToolkit apps in Unity editor

Some parts of it (gaze manager, voice commands, sharing) yes.
For others you'll need the HoloLens emulator (gestures, spatial mapping) or even the device.

  • I found some issues with emulator, so Unity better goes with the device.

  • I'm not able to get gestures or voice or even the voice keyword recognizer key bindings to work in Unity...

For spatial mapping test in editor is it possible to just use a prescanned mesh (default room)

Is there a guide for using Unity Editor testing instead of emulator?

  • Hi Were you able to resolve your issue of voice / gesture recognizer?
