Keyboard Input
I want to take keyboard input in Hololens. I tried using the XAML guide given by MSFT but somehow it fails to load. What I am doing is taking gesture air tap as trigger event. And on air tapping the UI Text field in Unity, it should pop a keyboard but its not working.

Can you give more details on what the error is ?
You mentioned you followed the guide, so you've built the app using the XAML template right?
Also, it's not really necessary to use a UIText field. I used a cube to trigger the keyboard. When it pops up, it has a full 2D UI with a textbox and the keyboard where you enter the data and upon completion the entered text is relayed to the app.5 -

@nayanseth here is a link to a post I did back in April that includes some sample code for calling up the keyboard in a 3D Unity XAML app just in case it helps.
