Position 2D UWP app

Hello.

I have a problem. From what I've read when you start a 2D app it is automatically wrapped by the Hololens and I dont have control over it.
My task is to position a simple 2D UWP app lets say to the nearest wall on my right. Is there a way to create my own wrapper to chose the app location or somehow access the hololens' wrapper. Or may be somehow launch and position the 2D app from a 3D unity project?

Thank you in advance!
