Holograms missing during recording or live capture

Recently, I noticed that when I run apps like Holo Tours, the video capture (either recording or live) does not show the hologram overlay - it seems to disappear after the intro logos. This didn't happen previously, I only noticed this issue last week. The display through the Hololens itself is fine - you can see the hologram - it's just a problem during video capture. I also noticed this with my own apps - I'll look around and sometimes the hologram disappears in the recording but is fine in the Hololens itself.

  • @Acylum,
Do you see this behavior with apps other than HoloTour?

    Thanks!
    David

  • Some memory residual error. I had issues similar but other way around. Check the settings for "Holograms on" in Mixed reality capture. Try record. It will not change it. Restart the Hololens, bamm, it will work.

  • I've seen this behavior in one of the apps I built as well. Again things were working well for a long time, then out of the blue, this problem started happening. I've rebooted the hololens but the problem still persists. (I though it was a memory problem too)
