Start to learn windows programming

Hi all.

I am in wave 1 and looking forward to getting the device. I am a long time iOS developer and have very little windows and C# programming experience. I would like to get some help about how to learn windows and C# programming. I am especially interested in the "drawing" method, such as how to draw rectangle, circle, picture, etc, pretty much the iso Quartz Core equavlent.

Thank you very much.

Bob Tabor has some good introductory stuff on Channel 9. https://channel9.msdn.com/Niners/BobTabor When I was starting a few years ago I found myself watching much of his content as "background music" but would focus on things that were new to me. Though with Build going on this week, there may be new directions, specifically Xamarin that are preferred over the "standard" UWP.

I second DougF's post - Bob Tabor is amazing. He's got a great series on C#, followed by a Windows 10 series. After that, I'd advise looking at the Unity website and going through some of their tutorials.
