Animations From Unity To Holo Project

This has been one thing that's eluding me and I believe it's on the unity side. I created an animation on a simple primitive sphere. I export this from (maya, blender, etc) and into unity. How do I retain this animation in unity and then auto start the animation when I open my holo app.

Just trying to connect all the dots when the dots are missing, and the picture is all fuzzy.
