fbx rendering and collision

anyone face problem of colliding imported fbx models in unity? no matter what I do only fbx models are not colliding themselves. primitive 3d objects collide well in the first few try outs. after editing for some time, they are also unable to collide. editing are normally done on objects that does not affect script of the 3d object it self. is it bug? also, several material renderings are missing after some actions done to several surface.

eg: i wanted to collide furniture to walls and prevent them from sinking in. used OnCollisionEnter to change color of both surfaces during collision. after collision exit, material of both wall and furniture disappeared, looks black or transparent. i am still using gamma rendering and not linear. anyone can help on this?

still waiting for advices on unity forum too. appreciate if anyone could help, though its more of unity problem.

thx in advance!
