no internet in hololens emulator

After getting squared away by updating Windows SDK version to 10.0.10586, I can deploy to the emulator in VS and use the device portal, but the network connection is not being shared properly.

This was working before I reinstalled. No network also occurs when I run the emulator independently too. Not sure what changed, but I tried all of the troubleshooting steps about removing the hyper-v switches, reinstalling, and trying connection sharing to no avail.

I've tried to follow these: http://superuser.com/questions/504189/no-internet-access-on-windows-phone-8-emulator-despite-working-connection-in-wi and https://hyperv.veeam.com/blog/how-to-configure-hyper-v-virtual-switch/ and http://www.tenforums.com/virtualization/6977-hyper-v-does-not-allow-my-vm-internet-3.html

In the emulator even if I re-create it, I get Windows Phone Emulator Internal switch on 169.254.102.110 which gets device portal and Microsoft Emulator Nat switch on 172.16.80.2. Both are internal. I'm unable to bridge/share these with my host adapter and if I add a new external virtual switch and link it in the hololens emulator settings in hyper-v mgmt console, it delete's that entry on launch.

Emulator Adapter #2:

Virtual switch: Microsoft Emulator NAT Switch

172.16.80.2 (Preferred)
