Hi, any news on this matter? I've been developing a hololens app with English voice commands but now I also need Spanish support, so I would like to know if Spanish is going to be supported any time soon so I can wait for this new feature or better start integrating some other technology by myself to achieve this.

Thanks in advance, it's been amazing to develop for hololens.

There's been no announcements about other languages being supported. Definitely start looking at other solutions.

Are there any "other" standalone solutions (not using cloud services)?

He wrote "other solutions" because he didnt want to write "I have to ducking Idea what you could do about it". I am working at Hololens Speech Recognition myself, and there is no magical other solution if you want to have a local Speech Recognition with another language than en-US sadly :-(

According to these release notes for 10 October 2018 update, Hololens voice recognition is not English only anymore:

You can now use HoloLens with localized user interface for Simplified Chinese or Japanese, including localized Pinyin keyboard, dictation, text-to-speech (TTS), and voice commands.

That is still of no use if you want French or Spanish, though...
