Are there any plans to release the 3D Viewer Beta Source code?

So far very impressed with HoloLens and looking to build a scientific visualization app. The 3D Viewer Beta seems like a good start especially if it is written in DirectX (non Unity).

I agree that would be really good. As you say 3D Viewer is a good start, but it doesn't have the features that would be acceptable to an end user. But if we had access to the 3D Viewer source, or the core components then we could build a really useful tool.

Agreed! It would be a really useful one for getting things started.
