Scanning round objects with HoloLens

Hello guys, I'd like to ask if there is any posibility to scan round objects like a ball or a can with Spatial Understanding? I have already tried adjusting parameters in Spatial Mapping and defining a can in ShapeDefinition.cs but with no results. Has anyone succeeded?

The average distance between vertices of spatial mapping is in the order of 5~10 cm. For a flat and large object surface, the distance will may be larger.

The spatial mapping of the current version of HoloLens is smoothing the concave/convex details. This means that a small object cann't be depicted reasonably by spatial mapping.

The only solution is the raw depth data stream that MS is keeping undisclosed.
