"The emulator is unable to verify that the virtual machine is running" error

I got that error when trying to use the Hololens Emulator from VS2015. My environment is using a VM Win10 Pro.

I already reinstalled the emulator, delete all the virtual switches from Hyper-V but still not working.

Any workaround?

Answers

  • Go the Hyper-V manager, and start the Hololens VM from there, once it works from there, close the VM and run it back again from Visual Studio...

I dunno why, but this fixed it for me...
