3 point callibration with Hololens in Unity

I have a physical object that I want a holograph to overlay on to, using Unity. The objects are all orthagonal so it seems like it should be a simple manner of having 3 points in the physical world marked with tape, and then 3 points in the virtual world that create a similar triangle, and then I can select the points using gestural select on the physical points, and then tell the holograph to remap it's position to match. Does anyone know where I even begin to figure this out? Would greatly appreciate any help!!!!
