XBox One pad support still not working with latest software updates

Hi,

I posted on the Unity forums about this and the issue was eventually turned into a bug report but unfortunately it was not resolved. I'm hoping that this could be investigated by a team at MS?

The Unity folks told me that the XBox One Bluetooth pad (that was released a few months ago) requires a firmware update, the HoloLens must be running build 14393, and one's desktop PC must have Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update (build 14393). Indeed, this is the case for me and yet I still cannot get the axes mapping to be consistent between the two. What's worse is that the second analog stick is simple inaccessible altogether. It was never explained to me what about each of these updates fixes the problem. I suspect some driver on the HoloLens side or a library is still stale.

I've tried rebuilding my projects from scratch to no avail, and have used both Unity 5.4.0f3-HTP and 5.5.0b7.

Here is where I stand:

PC: Windows 10 Pro Version 1607 Build 14393.351
HoloLens: OS build 10.0.14393.321, firmware: 0005.05.P.1606291233R
XBox pad: Firmware version 3.1.1215.0

Any ideas? Is anyone else still experience axis mapping problems?

Thank you,

Bart

Does no one else have this issue? Both the DPad and the right stick appear to be unusable, but work fine in the editor on the PC.
