Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Unity 5.5 Build will not import into Visual Studio

Creating apps for hololens using the academy tutorial. Have latest surface book. However trying to open the build in VS and I got the following message in the output. Any pointers?

We were unable to automatically populate your Visual Studio Team Services accounts. The following error was encountered: TF400813: Resource not available for anonymous access. Client authentication required.

  • Hi @Sleepydoc,
I always see that warning the first time that I open a new build project in VS, but it doesn't seem to affect anything (I can still build and deploy without any issues). Are you still able to build/deploy?

  • @Sleepydoc & @ahillier
    Have you tried the following:

Click on your account avatar in the upper right corner of VS
Then click on Account settings in that dropdown
That should bring up a window something like:

You may notice a warning symbol with the suggestion under it to Reenter your credentials (don't bother)
Instead click on the "Sign out"
    Close VS
    Reopen VS
    Sign back in

That made the TF400813 error go away for me.
