hi everyone,
Is there a place where one could post an idea for HoloLens?
I have a few ideas, but I am not a developer so most likely my ideas will never be brought to life unless I share them with someone.
Is this a good place to share them? Or is this more of a support page?

I have a few ideas:
1. Immersive language learning system, where the environment around the user will be labeled by HL and by clicking on different things you could learn pronunciation. It could utilize virtual presence too.
2. Search and rescue in collapsed buildings where the firefighter could have HL build into the helmet and it will show him the way out and the crew outside what the situation is.
3. HL could be used as a training solution for Policeman in the academy or as a navigation tool for back up units in a highway chase, many uses here.
I have some other ideas too, that is why I was asking for a board to publish them on.

The project is intended to teach HoloLens programming using Unity. Do you intend to develop the ideas you mentioned yourself? Otherwise what role do you see yourself playing?
I am not a developer so I did not participate in this project. I am also not going to develop those tools myself.
My background is in project management and business analysis. I would see myself as a SME or a consultant, a early beta tester who will provide feedback one the experience and explore potential new features.
I just think that it would be super cool if someone would take my ideas or even part of them and bring them to life.

You are right, I guess it all comes to the amount of effort it is required. Product like this will probably need months of dev and testing. No one will invest time without knowing if there is a business case behind the product.

I have an idea to create an educational programme using this Hololens product. although im not a programmer, not good at developing such projects, im just good at devising innovative ideas and how they can work. Is there anyone whom I can get to meet who is an expert in this projects?
I have a hardware upgrade (I know... all ready? Yup all ready an upgrade) where do I need to submit it?
One great venue for connecting ideas with people and talent would be local user groups in your area.
Check out the list of user groups on the Community page and if you don't see one nearby you consider starting one.
Meeting others who share an interest in this platform in a face to face environment is a great way to find the people with the complimentary skills that can help make ideas into reality.
