Can the HoloLens (not the emulator) connect to other hardware such as a webcam?
My team is still waiting for our HoloLens, and we are just wondering if the HoloLens can actually connect to another hardware such as a webcam?
I am also wondering if the emulator can connect into a webcam as well.

The HoloLens has a Bluetooth 4.1 radio and supports HID and GATT Bluetooth profiles so you can connect to Bluetooth accessories .
The HoloLens also has a Wifi 802.11ac radio, so you could connect over wireless to wifi cameras and compatible wireless devices.
The Micro USB port is intended for charging a tethering for deployment and debugging. USB peripherals are not supported through the existing USB 2.0 connection.
