Has anyone gotten access to Vuforia Windows 10?

https://developer.vuforia.com/

Vuforia announced an early access program for Windows 10 devices, including HoloLens. I was wondering whether anyone has already been granted access, since I now have my HoloLens device and want to port my existing Unity-Vuforia application to HoloLens.

  • I think you have to apply to their early acess program, but you need to be part of a company and etc...

  • Thanks @JonhPortugal. I am part of a company and have applied as well, so I just wanted to know whether anyone (or any company) has actually been granted access yet.

  • We applied at the company I work for and have got nothing. Don't think it's out yet... We've been using vuforia for 3 years.

I tried opencv on the hololens but the tracking wasn't as precise as vuforia's.

  • I'd love to know any information people have on this. We have applied for the program but haven't heard anything. We've been using Vuforia for several years.

  • No response yet.. they did send a "survey" to fill as well last month, even though there is no point for survey when we still dont have access to the SDK.

  • @DanglingNeuron: Yep we filled out the survey as well. But still stuck at that stage. @LeefromSeattle: Nice to hear you got access! How exactly did you go about using OpenCV for HoloLens?

  • @LeefromSeattle I would also be interested in knowing how and with which cameras of the device you achieved this.

  • I'm still waiting, too. I pinged them on Twitter and am hoping to get it in time to do some cool stuff at my booth at our local comic expo.
