Expand room depth

I've been trying to find out how to add some more depth to my room using spatial mapping — similar to this video https://youtube.com/watch?v=_xpI0JosYUk. I followed spatial mapping 230, and tried to riff off that to create a dome that was bigger than the actual space I was in, but had no luck, I even scaled the dome to about 50x the size of the spatial mapping mesh and it still seemed a bit small. Not sure if I'm approaching this the right way.

  • Not sure if I understood your question. Do you want to put a texture on the spatial mapping (for an effect like a skybox) or do you want to place a game object that is bigger than the room?

@keljed place a game object thats bigger than the room, for example, say a room is 4x4m all around, i want to make the room look like it's 8x8m by creating a sense of depth with the floor, walls and ceiling to start. Could a skybox effect do this?
