What would be the best depth sensing add-on to the Hololens?
I am working on a project that sets a lot of importance for sensing smaller objects in detail. Since the depth resolution for the Hololens is fairly limited, what device would be recommended to accurately avail the depth map of objects the size of an apple, all the while working well in tandem with the Hololens?

Kinect 2 for Pc is a very good package for depth resolution. All the SDK 2 source examples and apps have become available so you can do many new functionality in your apps. Recent additional code now supports the new UWP Windows.Media for UWP samples which recognition of depth streams for the Kinect camera
