Open Onedrive From my holographic application without switching to installed Onedrive app

hi everyone, i am currently working on an application that allows the user to load 3D models from onedrive and place it in the holographic space , the onedrive part was implemented using filepicker which will switch to the onedrive application installed on the hololense and its working fine , what am trying to do now is to implement this in the same way Holostoria did with Dropbox,
all the samples i found are webpages not applications and an xaml is not an option since my app is D3D, hope someone could help ,

pretty much the same with HoloSketch.
I assume instead of FilePicker, they used some RESTful API.
