Send Virtual Input Programmatically

edited April 2017 in Discussion

Hi guys,

I want to do a server/client thing to send a virtual input to HoloLens to trigger an animation. I tried to do that on Device Portal, and it worked perfectly. Now, I want to create my own server and send data from there. I looked at Device Portal APIs but it seemed that was not what I want. I don't know where to start now. I appreciate any suggestion. Thank you so much.

  • Hey, @doppelbeaver

One of the options for you would be (if you're using Unity) is to run a server (NetworkServer) on a separate device and a client (NetworkClient) on HoloLens and exchange messages.

Building the future of holographic navigation. We're hiring.
