Publish Remote Hosting App in Unity
I've successfully built the Remote Hosting companion demo in visual studio and ran it on my hololens from my PC, very cool! I'm wondering if there is a way to publish an application that supports remote hosting in Unity as well. I can run remote hosting in the unity editor but cannot seem to find a way to publish a self-contained application with this feature. If that is at all possible it would be great because my preference is to develop in Unity! Thanks for your help!

What do you mean by you cannot seem to find a way to publish a self contained application with this feature?
Go to File, Build Settings, and then either build to PC/Standalone or build to Windows Store and build the exe from Visual Studio.

I can only seem to run remote hosting in the editor and not build it into an application in Unity.

However my preference would not be to have to go into the VS project generated by Unity and try to find where to place those bits of code.
Oh, I see. I misread your initial question. I am not sure as I think the editor does a lot of the heavy lifting but I am not certain.
