Render 3D object in front of the camera

Hi all,

I would like to render 3D object 2m in front of the camera (within the field of view) whenever user says specific word.

It only WORKS when the rotation of the camera is (0,0,0)

If the rotation is not equal 0,0,0 the object wont be rendered in front of the camera.

Here is my code btw

GameObject Hologram;
Hologram = Instantiate(Hologram, new Vector3(Camera.main.transform.position.x, Camera.main.transform.position.y, Camera.main.transform.position.z + 2.0f), Quaternion.LookRotation(Camera.main.transform.forward));

Please help. Thank you

    You have to get your forward vector of your camera and add it to your camera position like this:

    Hologram = Instantiate(Hologram, Camera.main.transform.position + Camera.main.transform.forward * 2, Quaternion.LookRotation(Camera.main.transform.forward));

    I did not test this but it should work. Also i think you want to multiply your look rotation by -1 so the hologram faces the user, but i guess thats up to you.
