Holograms 211: Hologram does not work on device. Can you confirm?

I have noticed that the spaceman hologram does not render correctly (and gaze freezes) on the Holograms-211 tutorial. This is for both the starting and completed states. Is there an error with the tutorial files. Note: it works fine with the emulator.
