How to smooth out roughness in a Spatial Mapping surface mesh?

Hi Guys

I am developing a Hologram project and meet Spatial Mapping surface is roughness problem.

I find https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/spatial_mapping_design this document mentioned
"It is possible to smooth out roughness in a surface mesh. "

Is there any code to present how to achieve this target? Thanks a lot for your help.
