There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

Immersive view do not show up in 3D

I am using EON Reality software to create Mixed Reality apps. When deploying to HoloLens it works correct, however, when deploying to the HP Mixed Reality Headset I only get a 2D view.

I have searched for answers online and have looked at a number of places, made updates etc:
https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/immersive_headset_support#troubleshooting_app_views
This page says I need Creators Update build 15603 or later. My Windows settings says I have OS Build 15063.483. It was quite confusing to understand what is what here (SDK version vs OS build), but I assume I have the right thing.

In VS 2017 I have also updated tools etc that VS 2017 asked me to.

Now I am out of ides... Are there any settings in the VS solution or so that needs to be set? Or how to get the absolute latest versions required?

What do you mean you are using EON Reality software to create the apps? I am not familiar with that platform

This is EON Professional Software - an authoring platform for creating VR/AR/MR applications that has been out for some 20 years:)

Basically we have now support for the UWP platform and it works great on PCs and HoloLens. So the question is if there are any specific settings in VS for a solution to be able to run mixed reality headsets in immersive mode. I know we had an issue in the beginning with HoloLens but that was sorted out fast. Are there any native apps for VS using Mixed Reality? Maybe I could then compare...
