Screen capture/screen shot using Vuforia

Hi all,
Im currently working on a project which uses vuforia for object recognition.
I've been tasked with taking a screenshot/photo of the app in use, using the camera.

It needs to show the whole camera + holograms that are in view and needs to be done within the app itself.

I've tried vuforias Image class, and converting the image into a texture2d, but Im still unable to see anything that comes to the screen.

Ive seen OpenGL readpixels + OpenCV recommended elsewhere, but the opencv plugin for unity is 90 dollars and I really dont want to spend that much only to find it doesnt work.

Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated, thanks.
