Hololens displays a moon icon when start any app
Hello,
I just received a new Hololens unit which I attempted to setup. Sadly using an enterprise account failed to get passed the login stage. To get around that issue I created a new @outlook.com account and this signed in OK.
Once the device loaded I noticed that all apps/settings appears to get stuck with a sleep icon (moon with Z Z). It doesn't proceed from that screen.
I've tried restarting a number of times and there are no proxy servers between the device and the internet.
I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have
Thank you in advance.

@Taff,
Even apps that you download from the store? Going immediately into sleep often suggests that an app crash occurred. Try checking the event logs on your device by using the dev portal to see what is really happening: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/using_the_windows_device_portal#logging

Regardless of which app/settings I tried to open all of them stick on the Sleep icon. I could not get to the settings page yet strangely gestures like bloom and select worked.
I then downloaded the device recovery tool https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12379/windows-10-mobile-device-recovery-tool-faq as suggested in a few places.
After the recovery I still could not log in to a corporate account but OK with a personal account. Luckily I was able to get past the sleep icon this time around and performed a software update of the device. Now the devices operates as it should.
Strange regarding the login experience. I haven't seen anything mentioned about that.
