If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Microsoft HoloLens Windows Store App

edited May 2016 in Questions And Answers

Please enable the 'Microsoft HoloLens' app in the Windows Store to be able to use USB connectivity in addition to Wi-Fi.

At a Hackathon or Conference, for example, Wi-Fi connectivity can be unreliable and the ability to live stream over USB (for example) would be very useful.

As a mentor at a recent HoloLens Hackathon this would have made it much easier to collaborate with the hackathon participants when they had questions.

Thanks in advance,

  • Doug

  • Hi Doug, do you have a HoloLens? If so, you should use the feedback app on the HoloLens to make this suggestion. If not, let me know and I will do so. Then others can upvote
