TapToPlace Example in Holotoolkit

edited October 2017 in Questions And Answers

Hi,

how does the TapToPlace-Example in the MixedRealityToolkit work (see HoloToolkit-Examples/Input/Scenes/TapToPlace.unity )? I am just trying it in the Unity-Editor by fake-tapping around using the shift/space key and the left mouse button but the cubes do not follow my gaze as I'd expect it. I did not find any documentation on that prefab, so how should this work?

You have to add a Tap to Place script on the object you want to move.

The script is attached. It is working now... I guess I just pressed shift a bit too long so it was not recogniced as a tap.
