HoloToolkit lastest master branch release for 2017.2.0 Build Errors
Hi,
When building any project with the new Toolkit for Unity 2017.2.0, multiple errors occur. This even occurs in a empty new project, so it is because of the toolkit. Specifically it states:
"error CS1929: 'SpatialInteractionController' does not contain a definition for 'TryGetRenderableModelAsync' and the best extension method overload 'InteractionSourceExtensions.TryGetRenderableModelAsync(InteractionSource)' requires a receiver of type 'InteractionSource'"
Is there a current fix for this yet?

I messaged one of the mods for the toolkit and they suggested to install the latest Windows Standalone SDK: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/windows-10-sdk . It seems to be working now with Unity 2017.2.0.

@stephenhodgson ?
I have the same problem. I installed the Fall Creator Update, have the newest Version of Unity(2017.2.0f3), and I get the same Error messages while building my application.
Has there been a fix or solution for this error? Thanks
Had the same error with Unity 2017.2.0f3 - and then looked on the release page and saw hat the latest release targets Unity 2017.1.2. That fixed it for me.
Using Unity 2017.1.2 is sadly not an option for me. I need to use Vuforia, which is buildin to Unity now. I guess we have to wait unity Unity releases a fix.
