We couldn't download the Mixed Reality Software

Hi all,
I recently updated my PC to Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and I am receiving this error message. I can't seem to get past it. I'm not using the insider preview, as I thought this issue was fixed in a build pre-fall creators update, but with the fall creators update I am getting this error. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Hi, I'm Yoyo and I'm an engineer from MSFT working on Windows Mixed Reality.
Could you please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Please let me know if that fixes the issue
Yoyo,
I followed these steps and its still isn't working. I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise, and my computer is fully updated. We need a more specific solution than "Check for Updates." Whats the point in buying this stuff when you can't even download the software to run it?
Are you connected to an enterprise domain? Any chance this is getting blocked by Group Policy, or something on your IT department side?
I had this problem. The app for my specific headset was waiting to download. I went to the Windows Store, it downloaded, and then the WMR software download started
same problem not sure what to do next as i'vd tried everything i can but get the same message we couldn't download the mixed reality software
You might have a stuck update. Run both the windows update troubleshooter and the store troubleshooter. If both are clean, do sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth from admin command prompt. If it's still stuck, you can do the crappy admin powershell Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} to reinstall all default apps(which tends to get things out of a stuck condition but is annoying as it'll reinstall everything that came with your machine). It's unfortunate the troubleshooters can't resolve these issues on their own(search for how many forum and website posts contain these fixes since the Windows 8 days as to how frequently things break)
Anyone have a solution for this ?
I have the same problem and tried the DISM cleanup, but with no luck. I will attempt to replace the Windows 10 provided by Alienware with a vanilla Windows 10 Pro and hope this will solve the issue.
Very frustrating particularly when I was expecting a smooth user-friendly experience...
I tried this as well no luck
Yep, as well as I. Tried everything that is being advised in these posts all over the web. I just did another clean install and same crap. Lots of people having this issue so why the silence from MS....
I have 2 posts going myself:

and

but no answers....only typical copy n paste replies....or did you read the FAQs.....really...this is beyond frustrating now. Spent lots of money on this stuff and you expect it to work out of the box.....or even after a clean install.
