Vuforia Image Tracking not working on HoloLens

Hello!

I am using Unity 2017.2.0f3 and Vuforia 6.5 in order to track an ImageTarget and display a simple 3D model on top of it when detected. My problem is that the tracking seems not to work.

I created my own project using Vuforia stones image. I created my database and activated it, I tried different sizes of the image target. I set all configurations as stated in the various Vuforia guides. However, when I deploy the the app on the HoloLens, it does not display anything on top of my target.

Also, I downloaded and deployed the ImageTarget sample from the Unity Store as it was, not changing any configuration. It turns out that the sample too does not work on the HoloLens.

To be honest, in one of my build (unfortunately, I do not remember the exact configuration of this one) the green cube was rendered when the image was being tracked. However, the cube was rendered in the wrong position: instead of being on top of the image and of the right size, it seemed it was rendered exactly in front of the user's nose and in a smaller scale.

Any idea on how to sort this problem out? Please, help!
