Pair issue with my acer controller

Hi I got everything working great with my Acer headset however when I try to add my Acer controllers on the Bluetooth add new devices they don't show up. I am able to add other devices just not the controllers is there something I need to do to get them discoverable?

  • This might be a long shot, But i was having issues with the bluetooth. I have bluetooth built into my motherboard (X399 Asus Zenith Extreme). Then i remembered there were several antenna ports on the motherboard i never hooked up. (I didn't need wifi, I use ethernet.) And honestly i always figure bluetooth antennae are integrated...Well apparently not... Cause soon as i screwed in my antenna. And scanned again. I picked em right up.

  • Hey @jgardner16 , I'm an engineer on the Mixed Reality team at Microsoft.
To pair the controllers, check out these instructions: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/motion_controllers#pairing_controllers

If that's not working, check that you do not have controllers paired already, remove them and try again. If problem persists reboot PC and try again.

Let me know if this helps!

  • Hi i've the same problem, i can pair my right controller but my left one refuse to launch pairing when holding the button
